It is very important to understand that Cosmetic Tattooing is considered a permanent procedure. The result will not be able to be washed off, however, your body will naturally metabolise the pigment slowly over the years. The results can vary from person to person and generally lasts from 1-10 years or even longer and traces of pigment will always be present.

This process uses Micro Pigmentation. The pigments we use are carbon based and contain no nickel or heavy metals. The ingredients are a combination of powdered pigments, glycerin, witch hazel, isopropyl alcohol, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, aqua, rosin and DMDM hydantoin. These are safe, non-reactive substances. These have been specifically designed and manufactured for implantation into the human skin. These are gamma-ray sterilised, vegan and cruelty-free.

Your skin tone, the colour of your hair and eyes are considered as part of the process in carefully determining the best pigment for you. This will vary between each individual. During the consultation process, the shape is pre-drawn and measured and tattooing will begin once you have agreed that this is the shape that you are happy with. The tattoo is placed into your skin, behind and between your existing hair to create the appearance of a fuller, more enhanced eyebrow.

Most clients experience little to no pain.

The Ombre Brow Tattooing Service includes:

-         An in-person face to face consultation

-         Face measurements

-         Custom brow design

-         Custom pigment colour match

-         Application of topical anaesthetic

-         After care balm

-         After care instructions

A touch up appointment is required 6 weeks after the initial tattoo appointment, this will incur an additional fee.

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION – PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT

In preparation for your appointment, it is important that you do not use any skin/blood thinners (Vitamin A, Glycolic Acids) on the brow area two weeks prior to your appointment.

You must not consume any alcohol, fish oil, caffeine or take any blood thinners (Aspirin, Ibuprofin, Niacin) 48 hours before your procedure.  This may cause excess bleeding which may affect the results and desired outcome.

We will not be able to tattoo over any blemishes, sores or moles in or around the brow area.

Any cosmetic botox and fillers should be done two weeks prior or two weeks after your appointment.

If you are pregnant or planning on pregnancy, this service is not suitable for you, and we will not provide this service.

If you are prone to keloid scarring, this service is not suitable for you, and we will not provide this service to you.

POST APPOINTMENT AFTERCARE

As with any cosmetic procedure, the full healing process can take much longer than the initial healing timeframe and process. The entire process can take up to six weeks.

The first ten days are crucial for the healing process and 90% of your result will depend on how well you look after them. You must keep your brows clean and nourished with the cleanser and aftercare lotion provided.

You must not get the brows soaking wet for the healing period, this includes bathing, swimming, saunas etc. You must not also wear any makeup or products on your brows during the healing period.

You cannot exercise for the duration of the initial healing process. Exercising will promote sweating which will cause the pigment to come out of the skin leaving you with a patchy result.

You must avoid picking, rubbing and itching your new brows especially during the scabbing stage. To avoid a patchy healed result it is crucial to avoid any scabs coming off prematurely.

You must not be exposed to direct sunlight during this period. After 5-7 days post procedure, exfoliation will begin to take place. The top layer of the skin will begin to peel off, leaving a softer, lighter colour below. Once this entire process is completed, you can return back to your normal routine.

If you are not committed to this healing period, this procedure is not suited to you as the result is dependent on you following these instructions.

A booking fee is required to book and secure your appointment for this service.

Booking fees are strictly non-refundable.

Any changes must be made 3 days prior to your appointment, or you will forfeit your booking fee and will need to pay another booking fee to secure a new appointment. No appointments for this service are held tentatively and will only be booked and confirmed once your payment has been received.

Please note that the process for ordering numbing cream can take a minimum of 2 weeks. Please factor this timeframe in for booking in your brow appointment.
